Recently, filmfix Switzerland completed my order to digitize nearly 600 slides without any post-processing. These slides are from between 1960 and 1990, have been through several moves, and were mostly poorly stored. Therefore, I didn't have high expectations for the digitization results. In fact, I am very pleasantly surprised: - Hardly any dust spots appeared, which meant very little 'retouching' was necessary. - Good slides came through well, and poor slides were not made worse. - Even with overexposed or underexposed slides, there are often enough reserves in the extreme exposure areas to allow for improvements during post-processing. - Of course, grainy slides produced grainy digital images. But at normal viewing sizes or digital image resolutions, this problem has almost disappeared. Conclusion: The digitization by filmfix, in my opinion, brought out the best from my partially deteriorated slides. Thank you!
