If someone were to ask me what I could have done better with my Regular 8 & Super 8 (with/without sound) films, my answer would be: I would have my films digitized again by filmfix.ch, Mr. Marco Hobi! Only this time, I would have converted them from Regular 8 & Super 8 format to AVI format much earlier. The quality of the digitization is excellent and the price is reasonable. The splicing of many small reels was done flawlessly. Intro/outro texts were inserted as requested in the desired length. Between May 2013 and August 2014, Mr. Marco Hobi digitized my film material from the recording years 1965-1992 from a total of 38 larger and many smaller reels. Now I own a total of 48 films in AVI format with a total running time of 804 minutes. My adult daughters are thrilled; they can now view many of their childhood memories on a computer screen, a large TV, or a screen (via projector). A projector is no longer needed, no threading or rewinding is necessary. Films can also be started at any point as needed, simply brilliant! 01/05/2015 Arthur Schärer
