Thank you for the WONDERFUL work on the family 8mm. It's a huge hit, bigger than anyone expected. My mom and her sisters are having all kinds of wonderful flashbacks to their childhood, and it's been a chance to reach out to family to get names of people in the shots as well as a chance to connect to share the video with others. #priceless! I've just been adding freeze frames, names, dates and place names to the footage. You guys did such an A1 job of restoring and stabilizing. It really does make a difference going the whole 9 yards and I recommend it 100% -- including the valuable "image stabilization" option. Please share my recommendations, comments here and/or any clips of the video that you would like on your website that would help promote your service. You have my full permission. Here is a link to what I've been up to... lots more do go through! One of the best things about having the film transferred to digital is going through it frame by frame. You can find all kinds of hidden gems. It turns out there a lots of roll-outs, false starts, etc. and there can be just a few frames of an old house, a smile, or a moment that gets captured that you can't see when the film is running at 16fps, but on a freeze frame you can grab these little hidden bits. They're like Easter eggs that just don't exist anywhere but film, so it's fantastic to discover.
